Interconnections Conference (May 2017)

On 12-13 May 2017, the Klimalog Project at the German Development Institute/Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik, together with the African Centre for Technology Studies, Fundación Avina, Galvanizing the Groundswell of Climate Actions, the World Resources Institute, Friederich-Ebert-Stiftung, Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World) and GIZ Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the NDC Partnership, organized the Interconnections Conference.

The conference, endorsed by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and the Earth System Governance Project, convened over 100 researchers, practitioners and policy-makers from developed and developing countries to discuss interconnections between the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreeement, particularly focussing on the role of state, non-state and subnational actors.
